Google has launched Gemini Live, its response to ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode, allowing users to engage in dynamic voice chats with its generative AI chatbot on smartphones. Powered by a new Tensor A1 chip, the Buds are 27% smaller, offering improved processing speed and extended battery life of up to 12 hours. The chip is currently undergoing testing by various Chinese internet and telecom firms and is reportedly comparable to Nvidia’s H100. Following U.S. sanctions that restricted Nvidia’s advanced chip sales to China, Huawei aims to begin shipments of the 910C as early as October. Initial negotiations suggest a demand exceeding 70,000 units, valued at approximately $2 billion, from companies like ByteDance, Baidu, and China Mobile.
