Frequently asked questions

In contrast to typical agencies, where you are billed by the hour or a fixed amount for a project specification, our unlimited packages give you access to a full-time or part-time (top 0.5%) senior resource for a month with complete flexibility to manage the tasks they work on on a daily basis. The “resource” can also alternate between senior specialists within the service area according to the tasks. For example, within the Grow packages, you can request design, video and web development deliverables, and while you might only have 1 resource (so 2 separate tasks cannot be worked on at the same time by 2 separate resources, and one task will need to be paused for the other to progress), this 1 resouce can still alternate between senior designers, developers and motion graphics specialists. This essentially means that even with 1 worksteam, or 1 resource, you still get the skills diversity of an entire team.

This mode of operation is ideal for iterative and fast-paced creative, marketing, and product teams that require high-quality deliverables across a broad spectrum of services with a fast turnaround.

The packages are also ideal for medium to large-scale multidimensional projects that might require the combination of multiple Grow, Optimize, and Innovate packages. For these kinds of projects, our packages work out to be multiple times more cost-efficient than comparable quality traditional agency estimates, which often “price the client” instead of the project.

The packages can also be used for fixed-term, smaller engagements, such as a small website redesign and rebuild, or a branding project that lasts 1 or 2 months.

Most of our clients are growth-stage and enterprise businesses with 50+ employees in the US, Canada, the UK, and the EU.

You’ll have a dedicated project manager as your main point of contact who coordinates your requests across our team. Depending on your subscription, you’ll work with senior designers, developers, motion graphics artists, UX researchers, CRO specialists, or AI engineers—all within the top 0.5% of talent in their fields.

Both plan types offer the same level of service and unlimited requests. Monthly plans offer maximum flexibility with no long-term commitment, while quarterly plans provide a 25% discount. Both can be canceled with no hidden fees—your subscription simply won’t renew for the following period.

Yes, we offer flexible hourly packages ranging from 1 to 16 hours per month for projects that don’t require unlimited service. These packages are perfect for maintenance, small updates, or occasional creative needs. Our hourly packages include:

  • 1-hour package ($187/month)

  • 4-hour package ($599/month)

  • 8-hour package ($1,199/month)

  • 16-hour package ($2,399/month)

All hourly packages provide access to the same senior talent as our unlimited subscriptions and can be used across design, UX optimization, or AI services depending on your specific needs. Quarterly commitments for hourly packages also receive a 25% discount.

We believe in complete flexibility with no hidden commitments. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your client dashboard or by contacting your dedicated project manager. There are no cancellation fees or penalties—your subscription simply won’t renew for the following billing period. For monthly plans, you’ll have access until the end of your current month. For quarterly plans, you’ll maintain access until the end of your paid quarter. All your assets, designs, and deliverables remain fully yours after cancellation, and we’re happy to provide any transition assistance you might need.

Our focus is on providing expertise and implementation rather than licensing third-party tools. As a general rule, if the software is paid and serves as an input to our service (such as A/B testing platforms, development API costs, or specialized AI services), clients are responsible for those licenses. We’re happy to recommend appropriate tools based on your needs and budget, and our team is experienced with most industry-standard platforms. For implementation services like setting up or configuring tools, that work is included in your subscription. We can also help you evaluate which tools would be most cost-effective for your specific objectives.

Yes, absolutely. While our service lists are comprehensive, we understand that digital needs often extend beyond standard categories. If your request relates to the expertise within your chosen package (design, UX optimization, or AI implementation), our senior specialists can likely accommodate it. For example, though we don’t specialize in Wix development, our design team can make updates using the Wix editor within the Grow package. Simply ask about your specific requirements, and we’ll transparently assess if we can deliver the high-quality results you expect. Our goal is to be flexible while maintaining our premium quality standards.

Yes, we provide comprehensive documentation and training for all implemented solutions, whether they’re websites, design systems, or AI applications. Our goal is to ensure your team can effectively utilize and manage the deliverables.

If you’d like to learn more, please book a consultation call. If you’re ready to start, select your preferred package (Grow, Optimize, or Innovate), complete the checkout process, and we’ll schedule a kick-off call to discuss your priorities and establish workflows immediately.

Why Every Business Needs a Motion Graphics Designer

Effective and engaging communication is of utmost importance. Businesses increasingly rely on dynamic and visually captivating content to stand out among competitors. This is where the expertise of a Motion Graphics Designer becomes indispensable. These creative professionals can transform ordinary information into compelling visual narratives, making them an invaluable asset to any business. This article will explore their crucial role and highlight why every business should consider hiring one.

Role of a Motion Graphics Designer

Motion Graphics Designers are skilled professionals who specialize in creating visually compelling and dynamic content. They have a keen eye for design and possess a deep understanding of effectively communicating messages through motion and animation. Combining their artistic talents with technical expertise allows them to transform complex ideas and data into visually appealing and easily digestible content.

One of the key advantages of hiring a Motion Graphics Designer is their ability to bring life and excitement to otherwise mundane information. Using captivating visuals, animations, and effects can elevate your content and make it more engaging for your target audience. Whether in an infographic or web design, creating eye-catching explainer videos, designing captivating social media ads, or developing interactive presentations, they have the skills to make your content stand out.

Another benefit of having them on your team is their ability to create consistent and cohesive branding across different platforms and mediums. They can ensure that your visual content aligns with your brand identity, creating a unified and professional look that resonates with your audience. This consistency not only enhances brand recognition but also helps to establish trust and credibility in the eyes of your customers.

Furthermore, they are adept at simplifying complex information. They have a knack for breaking down intricate concepts into easily understandable visuals, making it easier for your audience to grasp and retain information. Whether you need to explain a complex process, engagingly showcase data or technology, or tell a compelling story, a Motion Graphics Designer can help you effectively convey your message.

The Role of Motion Graphics Designer in Brand Storytelling

Brand storytelling is an essential aspect of modern marketing, as it helps businesses connect with their audience on a deeper level. While words can convey a message, visuals have the power to evoke emotions, create memories, and leave a lasting impression. This is where the role of a Motion Graphics Designer becomes critical. Using their skills and motion design expertise, they can transform your brand’s story into a visually compelling narrative that engages and captivates your audience.

Let’s explore their crucial role in brand storytelling and how they can elevate your brand’s narrative to new heights.

Visualizing the Brand Story

They possess the unique ability to bring your brand story to life through captivating visuals and animations. By understanding your brand’s values, personality, and target audience, they can create visually stunning narratives that resonate with your viewers. From designing engaging logo animations to crafting compelling motion graphics sequences, they have the power to visually communicate your brand’s essence and leave a lasting impression on your audience.

Enhancing Emotional Connection

Brand storytelling is all about creating an emotional connection with your audience. They can help you achieve this by using visual elements such as colors, typography, and imagery to evoke specific emotions and enhance the overall storytelling experience. Through their expertise in motion design, they can create dynamic and emotionally impactful visuals that engage viewers on a deeper level, forging a stronger bond between your brand and its audience.

Simplifying Complex Concepts

Sometimes, brands need to communicate complex ideas or processes to their audience. This is where a Motion Graphics Designer truly shines. They can simplify intricate concepts through visually appealing animations and graphics. Breaking down complex information into digestible visual elements makes it easier for your audience to understand and connect with your brand’s message. Whether it’s explaining a product’s features or outlining a step-by-step process, they can transform complexity into clarity.

Creating Consistent Brand Identity

Consistency is key in brand storytelling. A Motion Graphics Designer ensures your visual content aligns with your brand identity across different platforms and mediums. They can develop a cohesive visual language that reflects your brand’s values, aesthetics, and tone. From designing custom motion graphics templates to establishing a consistent color palette and typography, they help maintain a unified brand experience that strengthens recognition and builds trust among your audience.

5 Tips for Hiring a Motion Graphics Designer

Hiring a Motion Graphics Designer can be a daunting task. But with the right approach, you can find the perfect candidate to help elevate your brand’s visual storytelling. Some companies consider those with bachelor’s degree, while some prioritize those with excellent portfolios. Here are five tips for hiring a motion graphic designer.

Check Their Portfolio

A designer’s portfolio is a reflection of their capabilities. Look for diversity in their work and pay attention to their style, creativity, and attention to detail. A portfolio that showcases a range of styles and techniques is an indicator of their versatility and adaptability. Reviewing their portfolio to ensure that their work aligns with your brand’s vision and needs is also essential.

Look for Relevant Skills

They should be proficient in software like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Maya, besides design skills. They should also have a good understanding of animation principles and storytelling. Look for candidates with experience working with motion designers on projects similar to yours and possessing the technical skills required to bring your brand’s story to life.

Communication is Key

A good designer is also a good communicator. They should be able to understand your brand’s vision and translate it into compelling visuals. Look for candidates who can articulate their ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with your team. Clear communication is essential to ensure your brand’s message is conveyed accurately and effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills

Designing is not always smooth sailing. The designer should be able to tackle design challenges creatively and effectively. Look for candidates who have experience working on complex projects and can demonstrate their problem-solving skills. A designer who can think outside the box and develop innovative solutions is an asset to any team.

Cultural Fit

The designer should resonate with your company’s culture and values. They should work well with your team and align with your business goals. Look for candidates who are passionate about their work, have a positive attitude, and are willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional results.

Motion graphics vs. animation: What’s the difference?

Motion graphics and animation are two terms often used interchangeably, but they have some distinct differences. Motion graphics are animation that focuses on giving movement to graphic design elements. On the other hand, animation is an umbrella term encompassing the entire field of moving imagery, including everything from cartoons to claymation.

Another difference between the two is the dimensionality of the graphics. Animations include 2D and 3D animations, while motion graphics are used for two-dimensional images. This distinction is why we can’t substitute “motion graphics” for the term “animation.”

One way to understand the difference between motion graphics and animation is to look at their stories. Animation is typically a visual representation of a story with characters and a storyline where actions unravel to a climax, which then concludes. In contrast, motion graphics tend to focus more on conveying information or enhancing visual appeal rather than telling a story.

While motion graphics and animation are related, they have some key differences. Motion graphics are an animation that focuses on giving movement to graphic design elements, while animation encompasses a broader range of moving imagery. Additionally, animation often tells a story, while motion graphics focus more on conveying information or enhancing visual appeal.

Hiring In-house vs. Hiring a Design Agency

When it comes to motion graphics and other graphic design elements needs, businesses face the decision of whether to hire an in-house motion graphics designer or work with a design agency. Both options have advantages and considerations, and choosing the right approach depends on various factors specific to each organization’s goals and resources.

One of the main advantages of hiring in-house is having a dedicated designer fully integrated into the company’s culture and workflows. In-house designers deeply understand the brand, its values, and its target audience, which can lead to more cohesive and consistent design outputs. Additionally, having an in-house allows for greater control and flexibility over design projects, as they can be easily managed and adjusted based on internal needs and priorities.

On the other hand, working with a design agency also offers several benefits. Design agencies often have a diverse team of experts with specialized skills and experience in various design disciplines. This can bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table, as agencies typically work with multiple clients across different industries. Moreover, agencies are equipped with the latest design tools and technologies to deliver high-quality and cutting-edge designs. Additionally, partnering with a design agency can provide scalability and cost-effectiveness, as businesses can leverage agency services on-demand without needing long-term commitments or hiring additional full-time employees.

Working with a design agency may be particularly advantageous when it comes to motion graphics design. Motion graphics designers often require specific software and hardware to create their designs, which can be costly for businesses to invest in. A design agency typically has access to these tools and can provide them as part of their services.

To make an informed decision between hiring an in-house motion graphics designer or working with a design agency, it is crucial to consider factors such as budget, project scope, timeline, and long-term design needs. Some businesses may prefer the control and consistency offered by an in-house, while others may value the expertise and flexibility design agencies provide.

Ultimately, there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as every organization has unique requirements and priorities. It is advisable to carefully evaluate the specific needs of your business, weigh the pros and cons of each option, and consider seeking professional advice if necessary. Doing so lets you make a strategic decision that aligns with your business goals and sets you up for success in your motion graphics endeavors.

They have a keen eye for design and possess a deep understanding of effectively communicating messages through motion and animation.
